LV Panels

Project details
Overview
Elezon delivered the complete LV electrical infrastructure for a pharma R&D facility in Bangalore — 11 Rittal Type Tested panels covering power distribution and motor control across R&D laboratories, HVAC systems, pilot reactors and zero liquid discharge utilities.
All panels were designed, fabricated and commissioned by Elezon's in-house team to IEC 61439-1/2 Type Tested Assembly standards with full pharma compliance documentation.
Client challenges
The client had several operational constraints:
Pharma R&D environment requiring IEC 61439 Type Tested panel compliance throughout 4 application areas — R&D, HVAC, pilot reactors and ZLD — each with different process and compliance requirements
PESO certification required for MCCs in hazardous process areas
Compliance-ready documentation package required for regulatory handover
Schedule criticality — facility inauguration date fixed, no float availableHigh dependence on manual transport and handling space constraints
Objectives
The primary objectives of the project were to:
Deliver 11 Rittal TTA panels across all 4 application areas on schedule
Achieve IEC 61439-1/2 Type Tested compliance throughout
Provide PESO-certified MCCs for hazardous process areas
Supply complete compliance documentation — test certificates, QAP, GA drawings
Complete FAT at Elezon facility and site commissioning with zero snag listAutomate internal material transport and handling
Solution approach
Elezon designed and manufactured 11 Rittal Type Tested panels — covering PCC, PESO-certified MCCs and APFC — using Rittal Ri4Power enclosures throughout. Full QAP compliance was maintained at every stage. Factory Acceptance Testing was completed with the client's QA team before dispatch. Site commissioning was executed by Elezon's field engineers with zero post-handover defects.
Key components of the solution included:
11 Rittal TTA panels — PCC, PESO-certified MCCs and APFC
Rittal Ri4Power enclosures throughout
IEC 61439-1/2 Edition 3 Type Tested Assembly compliance
PESO certification for hazardous area MCCs
IP54 protection across all panels
Schneider switchgear and motor control components throughout
Full QAP documentation — test certificates, GA drawings, wiring schedules
FAT with client QA team at Elezon's Bengaluru facility
As-built drawings and compliance certificate package at handoverIntegration with warehouse management and control systems
Implementation process
The integration was executed through clearly defined stages:
Design
Load list and single line diagram reviewed. Panel architecture specified for each of 4 application areas. QAP developed for pharma compliance.Manufacturing & Testing
All 11 Rittal TTA panels assembled at Elezon's Bengaluru facility. QAP compliance maintained throughout. FAT completed with client QA team present.Site Commissioning
Elezon's field team handled installation supervision, cable termination support and panel energisation. All panels commissioned on schedule.Operational Handover
Complete documentation package handed over — GA drawings, QAP records, test certificates, wiring schedules, as-built drawings and PESO certificates.
Conclusion
Elezon delivered 11 Rittal Type Tested panels across 4 application areas for a pharma R&D facility — IEC 61439 compliant, PESO certified, on schedule and with zero snag list items at handover. The complete documentation package ensured regulatory compliance from day one. A single accountable partner — design, manufacture, commissioning and documentation — with no gaps in ownership.
